The lamination is performed on a continuous laminating machine. It can take place under a hot or cold temperature, depending on the adhesive layer used. Materials can be bonded in the belt and in the plates. We can bond woven and non-woven textiles, cardboard, leather, foils and other materials.
Conglomerates for shoe insoles
The conglomerate for shoe insoles is formed by gluing the base layer with the face layer. The base layer is usually a PES non-woven fabric with a surface weight of 200 - 800 g/m2. Depending on the type of fibre of this layer used, the resulting conglomerate has different properties, e.g. different levels of stiffness. When using bicomponent fibres, the resulting material can be thermoformed. The face layer consists of a non-woven or woven lining textiles. Depending on the type of this layer, the resulting material acquires different properties, such as increased abrasion resistance or a different ability to absorb and desorb moisture.

Bonded face leather with textile. By gluing the textile, the leather acquires the required mechanical properties. It is also possible to glue the lining textile to the reverse side of the leather.
